Artificial Grass Carpet Installation
A synthetic carpet, either sand filled (15mm) or sand dressed (10mm) with in-laid tennis lines is installed on top of a tarmacadam surface, either on a new or existing court.
Artificial Grass Cleaning and Resanding
Over a period of time, owing to dirt and weather condition, courts become compacted and require rejuvenation, either through pressure washing or mechanical brushing. Recommended sand is then spread and evenly brushed.
Fencing Installation
Traditional fencing systems for tennis courts and multi-sports areas consist of either Angle Iron or Tubular posts and gates, clad with chainlink mesh. Chainlink is the medium of choice for tennis as it tends to deaden the force of the ball and drop it to the floor rather than rebounding the ball back into the playing area. However, other systems such as Weldmesh are readily available.
The ironwork is galvanised and powder coated green or black with the most popular heights being 2.75m or 3.6m. The chainlink mesh has a galvanised core PVC coated green or black, gauge either 3.15/2.50mm.
Multi-Sport and Playground Marking
We provide markings for all sports e.g. netball, basketball, five-a-side football and any other requirements, in a variety of colours.
Annual Maintenance
We recommend that all tarmacadam courts are cleaned and treated for moss on an annual basis. However, if the court is surrounded by trees or shrubs, then it may be necessary for this to be undertaken more frequently.
We can set up a maintenance contract, whereby we will contact clients on a regular basis to arrange for this to be carried out.
